Happy Deepavali!

Went to MINT Museum of Toys today. Got complimentary tickets of course. If not, we had to like pay $15 per person.

According to the leaflet, it is the world's first purpose-built museum for toys which showcase an extensive collection of vintage toys. The unique collection originates from over 25 countries such as Germany, Japan and UK.

It has more than 50,000 pieces of vintage toys and childhood memorabilia dating from the mid-19th century to mid-20 century and is displayed in 4 levels. MINT Museum of Toys also has a cafe/restaurant which offers a selection of international and local cuisine.

Didn't really take much pictures there as most of the displays are just toys. However, some of those toys have an estimate value of more than US$5,000! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you're damn bored or have interest in vintage toys.

Need to send the van for servicing tomorrow as there are some problems with it. That means I'll have to put up with the rush hour crowds for the next few days, which sucks. So time for bed now. Still have to get up early to eat 'human sandwich' for breakfast in the MRT, if you know what I mean. Good night!
